The National Association of Realtors lead economist Lawrence Yun has editorialized this month that rents are currently rising 3.5% yearly, potentially upwards of 5%. With rents doubling in the next 14-20 years, I think it makes it a great time to buy. Either to avoid paying excessive rents or investing your hard earn money.
